Our goal is simple, to create a safe, secure and enjoyable environment for everyone attending either Perth Stadium, Perth Rectangular Stadium, Gold Coast Stadium, Stadium Australia or Western Sydney Stadium (collectively referred to as the ‘Stadium’).
Security measures are in place to protect all spectators and ensure every match can be enjoyed in a positive and welcoming atmosphere. We ask that all fans treat one another with respect, follow the directions of customer service, event and security staff, and help us create a fun, safe and inclusive environment for everyone.
Anti-social or unsafe behaviour won’t be tolerated. A clear code of conduct is in place to support a safe and enjoyable event experience for everyone. By working together, we can ensure the Stadium remains a place where everyone feels safe, supported and part of something special.
GENERAL
For the comfort, safety and enjoyment of all patrons, the Stadium Code of Conduct and Spectator Code of Behaviour (link) apply to all patrons and visitors to the Stadiums.
Customers wishing to bring in personal items into the each Stadium will do so at their own risk. Neither the Stadiums nor the Local Organising Committee AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026 Pty Ltd (LOC) or AFC will not be held responsible for any damages to, loss or theft of a patrons’ personal property.
Any person found to have entered the Stadium after being removed or issued with any current banning notice will be subject to prosecution.
For the safety and security of all persons, closed circuit television cameras maybe in use at all Stadiums.

What Items are Prohibited at the stadium?
To make Stadiums safe and comfortable for everyone, there are restrictions in place on what fans can bring into the Stadiums.

Can I bring a bag to the stadium?
- Yes, each person can bring one small bag not exceeding 30cm x 40cm on any two sides (this is approximately A3 size). Bags that are half full and folded over to reduce their size will not be accepted.
- All bags will be subject to security screening purposes.
- To avoid delays and minimise disruption to your Stadium experience, you may want to leave your bag(s) at home, as there is limited or no cloaking available and large items are discouraged.
Can I bring food, snacks or drinks to the Stadium?
- Only small quantities of non-commercially packaged food (e.g. sandwiches or kids’ snacks) are permitted for personal consumption.
- Takeaway meals, hot food, and any liquids or beverages from outside the Stadium are not allowed.
- Exceptions apply for infant care (e.g. baby formula) or medical needs, provided they are presented with the person they’re intended for. All permitted items must be in non-breakable containers (no glass or metal).
Can I bring drinks or water to the Stadium?
- No, drinks or liquids from outside the Stadium are not permitted.
- Exceptions apply for infant care (e.g. baby formula) or medical needs, provided they’re presented with the person they’re intended for.

My health condition requires me to bring specific food and drink with me. Is that allowed?
- Yes, if adequate justification is provided (e.g. medical grounds), such items will be permitted into the Stadium, but only if presented in the presence of the person for whom they are intended.

Are there any restrictions on bottles?
- Yes, glass, metal disposable plastic bottles, PET and thermos bottles, flasks, cups, jars, metal cans or any other form of closable, closed or capped receptacle are NOT permitted into the Stadium.
- An exception applies to the following:
- Authorised refillable bottles must be EMPTY and can be refilled at the Stadium’s water station(s) (upon availability). Exceptions apply to infant care (i.e. baby formula/milk or if adequate justification is provided (e.g. medical grounds), but only if presented in the presence of the person for whom they are intended.
- Unbranded EMPTY plastic refillable water bottles manufactured and distributed as such (i.e. excluding disposable PET bottles) up to one-litre maximum capacity.
- Authorised refillable bottles must be EMPTY and can be refilled at the Stadium’s water station(s) (upon availability). Exceptions apply to infant care (i.e. baby formula/milk or if adequate justification is provided (e.g. medical grounds), but only if presented in the presence of the person for whom they are intended.
Note: disposable plastic or PET bottles are not classed as “refillable” under the terms of the Stadium Code of Conduct.
Are there any restrictions on toiletries, deodorants, make-up, etc.?
- Yes, glass or metal containers, aerosols and sharp items are prohibited.
- Small make-up items such as compact powder, eye shadows, blush, lipsticks, glosses, etc. are permitted.
- Hand sanitisers no larger than 100ml are permitted.
Can I bring a football?
- No, all types of sports equipment and inflatables regardless of size are prohibited. However, some souvenir items are made available for purchase in the Stadium but after the match due to possibility of match disruption.
Can I bring a flag or a banner?
- Yes, small flags, banners and posters are permitted provided they do not exceed 2m x 1.5m. If a flag, banner or poster exceeds these dimensions, it must be approved in advance by the event organisers through the Fan Material application.
- Requests to bring fan material into the Stadium can be made here and must be placed at least 48 hours before match kick-off.
- Approvals for oversized fan material will not be granted on-site if no evidence of prior approval from the event organisers is provided.
- Flags, banners or posters must be made of a non-flammable material and must not contain political, offensive, sexual, discriminatory or commercial content. Breaches may result in removal from the Stadium.
What are the restrictions placed on flagpoles?
- Small flagpoles or banner poles (single or double) are permitted, provided they are made from flexible non-flammable material and do not exceed 1m in length by 1cm in diameter.
- All other flagpoles or banner poles must be approved at least 48 hours before match kick-off by the Local Organising Committee AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026 Pty Ltd (LOC). Requests can be made here (hyperlink Fan Material Application).
Permitted flags, banners or posters used with poles must never obstruct the view of other spectators or otherwise interfere with the safety, enjoyment or comfort of anybody in the Stadium.
Can I bring a musical instrument?
- Musical instruments are generally prohibited under the Stadium Code of Conduct, unless pre-approved by the LOC/AFC at least 48 hours before match kick-off. Requests to bring musical instruments can be made here.(Insert Fan Materials Link)
- Vuvuzelas, diabolica, whistles or air compressor horns will not be approved under any circumstances.
- Supporter groups must also seek approval for any megaphone or loudspeaker, subject to limits. On-site approvals will not be granted without prior evidence.
- Permitted items must not obstruct access areas and may be restricted if they interfere with event operations or other fans’ enjoyment.
What are the restrictions placed on photo or video cameras?
- Any type of television and/or telecommunication equipment (including professional video cameras) or other professional equipment that is capable of recording sound and video is prohibited.
- Personal photo cameras are permitted provided that a fixed or detachable lens is less than 10cm in length.
- For the avoidance of doubt, personal smartphones, tablets and other small handheld devices are permitted. However, transmitting or streaming matches live is prohibited.
Can I bring a laptop?
- Yes, laptops as well as mobile phones, smartphones, tablets and other small handheld devices are permitted. However, transmitting or streaming matches live is prohibited.
Can I attend matches wearing a costume?
While costumes are permitted, any items of a political, discriminatory or commercial nature are prohibited, it is not permitted to:
- act in an offensive or obscene manner likely to offend the current standards of decency in the event organisers’ reasonable opinion; and
- use costumes as a means to conceal a person’s identity.
- Safety and security officials may ask fans to stop displaying any costume or material, as well as carrying out any activity/behaviour at any time in the interest of safety, security or enjoyment. Refusal to cooperate may result in confiscation of the items in question or even expulsion from the Stadium.
Costumes must not hinder the wearer’s ability to sit, walk, climb stairs, or evacuate in an emergency.
Costume can be themed or national dress worn for supporter purposes; props and accessories such as wigs, hats and props; face paint as part of themed appearance.
Are there any restrictions on what I can wear?
- Yes, as a minimum for general admission areas, patrons must be appropriately clothed for a public place and must wear shoes. Patrons with bare feet will not be permitted entry.
- Persons wearing ‘colours’ or ‘insignia’ on any clothing or them identifying then as belonging to an Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs or other groups s designated by Australian Law Enforcement may be denied entry or asked to remove such items.
- Persons wearing or displaying inappropriate or unauthorised commercial, political, religious or offensive images, logos etc. may be denied entry or asked to remove such items.
Can I bring a stroller or pram?
Yes, however, strollers and prams can be left at designated points.
It is important to note that leaving strollers and prams at the designated points will be at the owner’s risk.
For the safety and comfort of other spectators, strollers/prams must never be taken into seated areas.

Do Stadiums have Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), and will I be recorded?
- Yes, CCTV cameras are used throughout the Stadiums for the security, public health and safety of all patrons attending the Stadium.
- By entering the Stadium all patrons acknowledge and consent to, in accordance with applicable privacy laws, providing third parties (including law enforcement agencies; security contractors; regulatory authorities) with name, address, date of birth, voice image, and/or photograph.
