Introducing
THAT'S HOW WE WIN
THE official ANTHEM
We are thrilled to release the official tournament anthem, That’s How We Win, marking the first time in the tournament’s history that an official anthem has been created.
That’s How We Win embodies grit, determination, and the courage to dream boldly and win, no matter if that dream is playing football at international level or succeeding with other ambitions. It reflects the passion and shared belief that connect fans, capturing something larger than any one moment.
Opening Ceremony Music Director and Composer Joel Farland collaborated with Australian-born, globally acclaimed songwriter and producer Nat Dunn, whose work spans global artists including Charli XCX, BLACKPINK, and Rita Ora, to craft a piece that truly represents the soul of the tournament. Dunn also recorded the official anthem, delivering the powerful studio vocal that drives the track ahead of its stadium debut.
Farland is one of the world’s leading music directors and producers, having collaborated with artists including 50 Cent, Parkway Drive, Charli XCX and Rita Ora, and music directed major events such as ABC New Year’s Eve, the Australian of the Year Awards and the NRL Grand Final.
Created to electrify stadiums, it is set to echo through every match and linger long after the final whistle, as the tournament is poised to be the biggest, boldest and most attended in AFC Women’s Asian Cup in history.
The Official Tournament Anthem blends percussive rhythms with instruments from across Asia, creating a unified and powerful piece that inspires us all to rise together to win.
To bring this anthem to life, the song will be performed by ZIPPORAH, a proud Samu and Suy woman, from Saibai Island in the Torres Strait, at the spectacular Opening Ceremony also featuring global superstar Audney Nuna from KPop Demon Hunters on Sunday 1 March ahead of the Matildas’ highly anticipated blockbuster against the Philippines at Perth Stadium.
