250,000 tickets sold

The AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™ has hit a major milestone, surpassing 250,000 tickets sold across the tournament.

The milestone follows the tournament already shattering the all-time total attendance record, with 92,795 fans attending the first 10 matches. This surpasses the previous record of 59,910 set across the entire 2010 edition in China.

The strong ticket sales reflect the extraordinary growth of women’s football in Australia and throughout Asia, with fans creating a vibrant tournament atmosphere across Perth, Gold Coast and Sydney. The momentum has also been reflected in impressive television audiences, with Australia’s opening two matches attracting 2.68 million viewers across Network 10 and Paramount+ and with the knockout stages approaching, viewership is expected to remain strong.

Momentum is set to rise again on Sunday night, when Australia faces Korea Republic at Stadium Australia in a blockbuster International Women’s Day clash that is on track to deliver the biggest attendance of the tournament so far.

Tickets remain available for the highly anticipated showdown, and fans are encouraged to secure their seats now to be part of what promises to be one of the defining nights of the competition.

With momentum continuing to build across the group stage and into the knockout rounds, the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™ is firmly positioning itself as the most highly attended and celebrated edition in the tournament’s history.
