Where football meets impact: AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026 launches fan Health Hubs

From 1 March, Australia will welcome Asia for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™, as 12 national teams compete across Sydney, Perth and the Gold Coast in the continent’s premier women’s football tournament.

As part of vibrant fan activation precincts outside stadiums, the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026™ will introduce Health Hubs, positioning health, learning and community connection as a central part of the match-day experience.

Supported by the Asian Football Confederation as well as Football Queensland, Football NSW and Football West, the Fan Activation Zones will be welcoming, interactive spaces designed to engage all fans through ‘have a go’ activities, food and lifestyle experiences and opportunities to learn more about important health and societal issues.

The ‘Health Hub’ initiative is grounded in the tournament’s guiding philosophy, Dream Fearless - a call to inspire all fans in sport and in life. It reflects the tournament’s ambition to create impact that lasts well beyond the matches themselves and is a first in the tournament’s history. Anytime Fitness also have the same philosophy and will be powering the Health Hubs at multiple locations and matches over the tournament period.

A range of Australian charities will be embedded within the Health Hubs across host venues, including Heart of Football, Share the Dignity, Endometriosis Australia, Football Futures Foundation, 4Voices, Women’s Health and Equality Queensland, Health and Wellbeing Queensland, Gold Coast Public Health Unit and Gaining Ground.

By combining world-class football with meaningful community engagement, the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026™ is set to deliver an experience that is exciting, considered and not to be missed on and off the pitch.

Fans attending matches are encouraged to arrive early and make the Health Hubs a key part of their game-day plans as Australia hosts the very best of Asian women’s football.
